MISSION
The St. Malachy Aftercare Program is designed to assist parents by providing supportive, safe care for their children
after the school day while enhancing the social, emotional, physical, and spiritual development of each child.
OBJECTIVE
St. Malachy Aftercare Program activities are created to meet the unique needs of the school-aged child. The children
are able to choose among many different activities. Planned daily programs include arts and crafts, board games,
outside time, and an array of whole group projects. There is also time set aside each day for homework and reading.
COMPETENT STAFF
Competent, responsible staff plan and supervise this variety of structured and unstructured, indoor and outdoor
activities.
NUTRITIOUS SNACKS
A substantial nutritious snack is served each day, prepared by the Aftercare provider.
FOR PRE-SCHOOL THROUGH EIGHTH GRADE
The Aftercare Program is offered to children in pre-school through eighth grade. Only children attending St. Malachy
School are given enrollment.
DAYS OF OPERATION
Monday thru Friday – 3:00 – 5:30 p.m. during the school term
Early Dismissal Days – Aftercare until 5:30 p.m.
NO SCHOOL – NO AFTERCARE
FEE SCHEDULE
One Child (per family) - $4.00 PER HR.
Two or more (per family) -$6.00 PER HR.
LATE CHARGES
One child (per family) - $5.00 for 1st minute, $1.00 per each additional minute
Two or more (per family) - $7.50 for 1st minute, $1.50 per each additional minute
Bills are sent out every 4 to 6 wks.
