MISSION
STATEMENT
To provide an educational opportunity
for each student of St. Malachy School
to mature spiritually, intellectually,
culturally, socially and physically.
My name is Amanda Elam and I teach first grade.
I have taught first grade at St. Malachy since
February 2002. I graduated from ISU in
December 2001 with a bachelor degree in
elementary education. I have two wonderful
children, a loving husband and a pet bunny at home.
I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and
teaching. The first graders are having so much fun
learning and exploring this year. Together we are
becoming authors, enthusiastic readers, exploring
as scientists, solving problems as mathematicians,
and working together as God's Children ~ to love
one another, the way God's loves us.
